This is a How-To channel. With the way our economy is going, people are faced with fixing things there self. I am one of those people. I will be posting very random things that you can do yourself. Some things will be a learning process for me as well and you can learn from my mistakes. LOL

Easy Heater Core Fix Broke Leaking Hose
Просмотров 384 месяца назад
Heater Core hose leak and broke hose connection to heater core. Massive steam coming from engine and temperature gauge maxed out. I had a hole in heater core hose. When I tried replacing it I snapped the heater core tube off. So I had to bypass the heater core until I can fix heater core. To replace the heater core tubes was a massive task for me not being a mechanic. So I just added an adapter...

Sadly, this only works in the cases where you can take off the tops of your faucet handles...
This doesn't work on my 2012 Honda Ody. The only thing you can get down the dip stick tube is the dip stick by turning it until it drops in.
That was exallent!!!Thank you.I cant tell you how great that was real inventive !Thanks again.
So glad this video helped you!!! Thank you for letting me know. I hope you have an amazing day, Tony

I’m so glad this helped you and Thank you for letting me know, Tony
I will be doing my timing belt in 2 days. ...This is useful info since I dont have an Impact & will be wrenching it.
Hoping you much success and this method helps you. If you do notice it slipping try using more wraps if you can until it grabs. Some people in the thread added a piece of rubber that helped too. But usually a good tight wrap works for me. Take care, Tony
Yeah, you wasted my time. I’ve got the parts. I need to rebuild another one too. And it’s been a while. And I don’t know what I did with the playlist of videos. Somehow, RUclips listed this video second in search results And you jerked me around for two minutes. You got the thing apart, you got the parts and installed them, You’ve got a video camera, and it appears you like to , but instead of a two minute rebuild, you decided to talk for two minutes and then just leave.
Yes I spent two minutes so people wouldn’t buy the parts and realize the parts they got didn’t work and spent hours and can go by another cheap one like most home owners buy cheaper than wasted more time and money! So yes hopefully you won’t waste more than two minutes of your time on something that cost you more to fix than what it’s worth. People like me are truly trying to help people out. If you have more patience when you are teaching someone you know what not to do and think two minutes is too long for your precious time. Maybe you should of took two minutes to realize where you saved your playlist 😂
I have the same saw. A snap ring keeps the chain from slipping off of the sprocket. Mine broke in half. Luckily, I have a drawer full of them at work.
Thank you so much for this information I will definitely check that out if mine does that. I still have it and going strong. You have an awesome day, Tony
Good afternoon I just would like to say that yes there's many videos out there but the close up that you did with the video to make sure nothing gets messed up is truly appreciated I got one for a friend of mine that had some trees that she needs to get cut down and it was used it's the pL1416 model and the chain is kind of wore out I was trying to figure out how to change the chain thank you so much I truly appreciate God bless it's a excellent video thank you so much for sharing this
Thank you so much for letting me know! It means a lot to me if I can help people in small ways. You taking the time to comment makes me smile inside. You have blessed day, Tony
Thank you my friend for posting how to do it. Your explanation was GREAT and to the point. I did under 2 minutes. Blessings
Awesome!!! So happy this helped you and means a lot that you let me know! You have an awesome evening and week, Tony
I have an old one that looks just like yours. The junk man won't take it apart so I have to (haven't moved the sofa uet). I can see those rail things even when the sofa is upright. If removing screws is all there is to it, you just made my day ❤
Truly blew my mind when I learned this. It is that easy and makes it light and manageable. Of course way after hauling and heaving several up stairs years later 😂 Have an awesome evening and week, Tony
Absolutely doesnt work. Stupid idea.
Dumb ways to die
😂 Definitely in so many ways. 😂
Thank you. I gotta do mine. Let me tell you it is so much easier to learn from a non mechanic. Because you hit the same problems I will and walk us through it. A mechanic wouldn’t even see it as a problem and so not even bother to mention the small details like you do. Thank you again. I’ll let you know how mine goes. I’m checking out “auto parts” right now. I want to get the same one you got and I don’t know what I’ll get if I go on Amazon and get some cheap thing missing some parts or whatever.
Thank you so much for this comment it means a lot! I made this video awhile ago and I believe the company has changed names unfortunately I can’t change it in the video 😂 To be honest it’s been a while since I’ve ordered anything from them. But it was definitely a good fit. I hope you get it done with no issues and you made my day. I read your comment to my wife and when someone takes the time to comment is awesome! Let me know if you can definitely how it went. Have an awesome week and take care, Tony
What year backing plate?
I believe most everything is still 1970. Have an awesome day and take care, Tony
Great to see a tutorial if this. It may be a simple task to some though it is new territory for others. Mine was the latter and it sure helped me. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! It means a lot to me when my videos help people. You have a awesome day and take care, Tony
thanks lol
You don't have to take the drive shaft loose.
Comment to help this guy.
I had to lay a rubber piece on the pulley to keep strap from slipping but it worked like a charm! I had to put 185lbs. Of torque on my Tacoma and I almost couldn’t do it😂
AWESOME!!! I am so glad you got it!!! Thank you for letting me know it worked for you with adding the rubber piece with it. Have an amazing week and take care, Tony
I'm here to report back on the big block crank bolt. book said 200 ft/lbs min. I used a ratchet strap around the frame and through the hook to attach it to the frame tgen wrapped it around the crank pulley and through the fan and pwr steering belts 3 times. I had someone pull on the strap while I ran the torque wrench. the crank turned about 90 degrees then tightened up good and i got it done! seemed like it didn't wanna happen but 210 ft/lbs is a hell of alot. Thanks for the advice it really helped out on Carmen Electra225!! 🫡😎
Same process for the T2200? Great video and thanks for your time.
Thank you for taking the time to comment it means a lot. I hope you have an awesome week and take care, Tony
I'll give this a shot tomorrow and report back. gotta torque the balancer on my 71 buick 455 to 200lbs min!
Damn!!! That’s one heck of a lot of torque. If I stood on the torque wrench I wouldn’t have enough azz!! 😂 I hope you are successful with this method. Some people in comments added a piece of rubber tubing laying around. I would try to use as many wraps as you can even if you have to add another strap to lock it if it starts to spin. Sometimes it will have to spin some until the wraps tighten so don’t give up if it spins some. I am looking forward to your update. Take care, Tony
Thanks for the video
You’re welcome nothing more aggravating than adhesive glue on your stuff. Have a great weekend ahead, Tony
Thank you so much for this video, seen another guy on youtube hammering nails in copper but his video was not so good and at the end you were none the wiser as to how it worked. However this video was excellent thank you !!!
Thank you for your comment it always means a lot to me. I hope you have a excellent day and weekend ahead, Tony
Thank you. Very helpful video.
You are so welcome and the comment means a lot to me. Have a wonderful evening, Tony
How do you know how much it is overfilled?
Hello the best way is by your dipstick take some out and check it and repeat. If you put a whole quart in and it is way over try taking 8 ounces out at a time. Read the dipstick for cold or hot reading. It is a pain but a lot easier than trying to drop the pan and leaking it all out. I hope this helps you and have a awesome evening, Tony
Thanks
You are very welcome and thank you for the comment. I hope you are having an awesome weekend, Tony
Good video. I've changed the oil before in my lawn tractor, but never had to change out an oil filter. The video helped a lot. Thanks.
Thank you I am so happy and grateful for the comment. Hope you have a great weekend coming up, Tony
Hi, Changed the battery but the AC still not kicking on. Also, the Warning Triangle is still there. Any suggestions.
Sorry for late response. It definitely sounds like another problem. I am not an a/c person. I googled it for you and there is so many different things it can be. Some sound simple and some will require a a/c technician. So sorry I can’t give good advice on your situation. 😢
This tip helped me out of a hole today. Thank you! I needed to wrap the pulley with a bicycle inner tube first to get grip
Awesome!!! Thank you for letting me know. Have an amazing day, Tony
Worked like a charm!
